What Domain Spam Score Should Avoid

I found domains with Spam Score 3-5. As I know the Spam Score metric is 0-100. In this case, should I worry about 3-5?

Also, how Spam Score infects ranking?

    In my opinion, spam score greater than 5 is a bad metric. But!

    Always check every expired domain and backlinks itself. It is possible to have bad links, even with zero spam score.
